You can try not to use heat , the longer you go without heat the curlier your hair will become. you can also try using coconut oil to repair any damage you may have. the oil will also help with the Frizz. as for styling you can use ms. Jessie they have a wide arsenal of styling products for curly hair. you can also use shea moisture and devacurl. all of these thing you can find at target.

I use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, a deep conditioner two times a week and a heat protectant spray.

I went through this last year. I've been wearing my hair naturally curly (no heat!) for a whole year. I noticed a huge difference in my hair. you can try many things, I noticed when I do an oil treatment before I shower it makes my hair less frizzy. (you can use olive oil, or coconut oil) and never blow dry! it makes your hair crazy frizzy. also you can try a frizz serum like something from John Frieda. and don't worry if it's frizzy sometimes, most of the time mine is somewhat and people don't really pay attention to it. good luck!

Also if you're having a bad hair day and are tempted to flat iron, just put it in a bun or braid!

I've been wearing my hair no heat for my entire life! I honestly don't understand why people use heat everyday! I'm not judgeing (I know I sound like it) but it's not at all as hard as you think to find heartless styles. I have crazy curly hair , but I have only started to work with it rather than against it, these last one or two years. I suggest trying out the As I Am line for curly hair which can be found at Sally's! I also HIGHLY recommends Shea moisture as a brand, but specifically their curl enhancing smoothie! I use it everyday, it's the only thing that(I've tried) that holds my curls , and hydrates them as well! I also recommend cantu Shea butter leave in conditioner which I apply everyday before the curl enhancing smoothie because it just makes my hair extra soft , shiny and more manageable! Mixed chicks is another line sold at target which I have heard rave reviews about! Also try kinky curly products as well, because they are a great brand with 99% of their products formulated specifically for curly hair!! Good luck!!
