My hair stylist said I should start growing my bangs out for the summer. What are some good styles for those in between stages?
I never wear headbands and my forehead is a little bigger than I would like,( hence the bangs or fringe.)

I'm going through the same thing.. But I'm been growing out mine since January + I've got a larger forehead too. I tried to play with different partings in my hair like a side part and stuff, also tried braids, twists, and simply pinning it back. As much as I don't like my forehead at the end of the day it's still going to be large, so I either had to hate it or love it. It's yours, embrace it :)

Thanks Cherry, I don't hate my forehead that much but it does make growing out bangs difficult. I just don't look good with hair pinned to the side or in a headband-longish face. I sound like I hate my looks but I really don't believe it or not!

Lol I believe you, hmm.. Maybe try looking at hair videos of girls on YouTube with growing out bangs to get some ideas. Like I said I have the same situation with a larger forehead so I just trained my bangs to be like side bangs for the growing out stage :)
