If you really don't like them then you cut them to a shape you prefer then paint a pretty summery colour or try some nail art(:

To remove the glitter do a non acetone because I'm guessing your wearing fake nails. The non acetone won't take the nail off just the polish. I would try a nude or white polish with a different color ring finger. I also like to do a thin line of glitter on the end of nail.
