Is there something to do with beauty that you want to change but just can't? A certain routine or product?
For me I love bright and dark lipsticks but no matter what I always take it off and put a nude or light pink lip.

That's how I am with nude colors and darker colors. With nudes I feel like I HAVE to line my waterline and wear eyeshadow and the nudes my my lips look smaller. I don't like darker colors on me, I just don't like darker lips aside from like a nice violet

What I would say to do is to gradually work your way into a darker color so instead of it being one big change, it's a series of steps to achieving & being comfortable with the new look you want to try.

I think that's totally normal. Nudes are pretty much always "safe" and that's why they tend to become our comfort zone. I was the same way when I first started to venture into lipsticks, but I gradually began to try more vibrant shades and now they're pretty much all I go for. Don't be afraid. Manipulate colors with liners and glosses until you find something you're totally comfortable with. You can do it!
