It might be hard to maintain since red hair dye tends to wash our and turn a coppery color after 2 weeks.-.

It's beautiful but you should keep in mind the maintenance. Are you going to be able to keep it up week after week? Are you willing to give up some routines that can make the color wear out faster? I believe it's a great style, but ombré takes some babysitting.

It is very hard to maintain. Bleaching your hair will damage it but if you take care of it, it won't be as bad. Red is one of the harder colors to maintain because when it fades it can look bad. Use color safe shampoo and wash your hair in lukewarm to cooler water. But I think you should go for it.

I've done that before, its not very hard to maintain, but red is kind of a pain in the butt to keep in tact. I'd redye it once a month but I wouldn't strip the remaining red or try to bleach it. I did put some of the left over dye in my hair mask & used it 2 or 3 times a week & that helped keep it fresher than it was before I started that. Anyway, I think it would look very nice on you, and when you don't like it anymore, black should cover it again.
