I have a straightener and it works great. Just one problem is my hair is already stick straight now because of the length.
I know how to curl my hair with it but I would rather use my curling barrels for that.
Is there other ways I could use my straightener?

You can use it to make crimps in your hair! Move the straightener down your hair while twisting it back and forth.

Wave, crimp, curl, straighten 😝 you can use it to chalk your hair& depot your makeup 😉
Try twisting your hair and applying you flat iron to that or do little braids
