I bought a few goodies the other day, including:
- Benefit Watts Up
- Benefit They're real
- Too Faced Primed & Poreless
I also cashed in some VIB points & got a little self tanning kit (:
I was just wondering how exactly you ladies use your Watts Up highlighting sticks? or I guess, how you blend it out after sweeping across the cheeks.
thanks girls! xx

I use my fingers when I'm in a hurry, but I also like using a small stippling brush.:)

I love love love Watts Up! It isn't a highlighter (which I discovered after first use lol) but a luminizer- so don't apply this all over bc of the shimmer! Haha. I think it gives hands down the most natural, dewy, beautiful glow than any other! I use the sponge and apply it on my cheekbones, brow bone, and Cupid's bow. (:

A Damp sponge works great when applying this product as well as fingers but when using a Damp sponge use in dabbing motions quickly Like when painting a wall and you use the Sponge Technique,It's a quick and easy way to achieve a subtle texture and add's depth to the Illuminizing effect. I call it a Glam highlight product applied just above the cheek bone area and I don't use this type of product as a regular highlight because this is a Luminizer and gives a dewy effect and if this product is all over your face the results make you look like your glowing sparkles lol it attracts right away so keep that in mind.I say use this also on your shoulders or chest, collar bone and arms when wearing an off the shoulder or any top that shows some skin,It gives a beautiful body glow when the sun hits. :)

I can't get any of Benefit's Benetints,
Luminizers/Highlighters, etc. to ever show up on my skin no matter what application I try or where I put it...

Lisa have you applied it and let it set for a minute then apply over again?

I guess I shouldn't have called it a highlighter, lol. I know it shouldn't be used all over the face, especially after I first applied it! I would look like a glowing sparkly mess ;D I apply it on my cheek bones & below my brow if I'm not wearing shadow. I'll definitely keep the body glow in mind when summer rolls around the corner! thank you (:
@Lisa, I would definitely try applying 2 coats. I did & there was a huge difference between the first & second layer.

I like putting it on my cheekbones and blending with my fingers and not the sponge on the other end, it looks AMAZING! Benefits They're Real is also an amazing mascara.. Benefit is literally my favourite brand!

@Alma, yes I can even put tons of coats of it on and I can't even tell a difference. Its just weird because I can use other highlighter/luminzer brands and they show up great but for some reason Benefit will just not work on me... The only reason I can think of why it won't work is maybe my skin is just too fair?

When applying the product on clients with fair skin it looks beautiful.I would think because your fair skin it would look the best on the tone and actually not be so harsh looking but just the slightest subtle illumi effect that only the sun could catch and show result reflect from the product. But at least you found other products that work for you :)
