The perfect eyeliner?

A dupe for kat von D's tattoo liner is tartes liner if you can get your hand on it. I went to buy the kat von d one about two months ago and it was sold out (it's the only liner I've used for years) and I bought the tarte one just to see. And it actually is very very similar. It's super easy to work with and apply. I'm not sure if it's waterproof but I have really watery eyes due to contacts and it's never smudged on me.

I use Maybelline's eye studio gel liner. I usually am not very impressed with a majority of their stuff but the liner is actually very good quality. It lasts and doesn't smudge. I get a little wear in the corners of my eyes but that could just be me, I tend to have watery/allergy eyes sometimes.

But I use a Real Techniques silicone liner brush to apply it. It's great because there's no bristles, so you can't accidentally feather it and the line stays a little more consistent. I was using their fine liner brush before and it was okay but now I much prefer the silicone one. You may find it's easier to use :)

Liquid- I lovvveee Kat Von D's but since you can't it, Stila's Stay All Day is great; Elf's is super black but it just does not last for me

Pencil- I prefer twist up pencils, I like L'Oreal Infallible or Sephora's Waterproof Twist-up

Gel- Maybelline Master Studio or Inglot

I've heard good things about Tarte's. I've actually had my eye on it for a bit now. But I also think Urban Decay will be releasing a new range of eyeliners in the near future, I think including gel. Don't quote me though lol. I don't know exactly what they're doing or when/if they're really doing it. But I've seen some stuff they've posted recently and it looks like they'll be unveiling some cool new stuff eventually.
