Okay I just had to google a word since I didn't know the English word! But the first pic looks like something my littlebrother had I few years ago, streptococcus, have he been checked for that?

He hasn't been checked for anything that involves a blood test, our dr just suggests changing his soap and laundry detergent, but we've used the same stuff for 7 years, and he gets a rash every 4-6 months so I don't think it's soap or detergent. :s it's really itchy on his belly but that's the only spot he's itching and he has no fever. I'll have to google streptococcus, is that bacterial or viral?

I'm pretty sure it's bacterial.. but you should definitely make your Dr or a skin specialist give your son a complete check up, I feel so sorry for him being itchy :(

Its not ringworm or staph ring worm is in a circular pattern hence the name ring and streptococcus are abscess filled with fluid it looks like hives which is common in children the can be allergic to anything and they haven't built up a immunity to certain things yet you should take him to a dermatologist however to be on the safe side or he can have a allergy test done

We don't have any specialists here just two GP's as it's a small small town, but I can make an apt and see about seeing a specialist.

What about scabies? is he itchy? and is the rash warm?
Mar 12, 2014
Pati L.
A dermatologist will tell you it could be scabies

It's not a scabies rash however scabies did run through our area a few months ago. And no the rash isn't any warmer then the rest of his skin.

My daughter has scabies and its so frustrating she got it at daycare! well the only thing you can do is take her to a derm.

Give him a bath in aveeno oatmeal soak and wash his face with old fashioned oats then use eucerin calming cream or eucerin ich relief and if the doctor's are saying they don't know ask for a allergy test so you no what to keep him away from

Didn't you say you have taken him to the dr for this more than once if its something contagious I think the dr would have told you that already.

I am suspicious of doctors who satisfy themselves with a "no clue" diagnosis. Oftentimes MD's do not possess the skills necessary to cure and or treat skin conditions. I would take my son to an experienced, reputable dermatologist as soon as possible. I'd also bring photos for reference. Having seen scabies before, I do agree with Velen.. this does share many similar characteristics. :(
I realize your town is small, but a specialist would be well worth the trip to another town...I assure you.

He's prob allergic to some kind of food I suggest trying to figure out which food it is.. My mom had the same problem when she was younger ended up being from chips,cheetos,etc.. Anyways try playing around with that.. Hope this helped good luck!

*sigh* I feel so badly for him. I remember when my son was little. It is very upsetting to see them hurting or uncomfortable. Then again, it does at any age, but when they're so helpless it's especially frustrating. Please, seek a specialist a town over. Praying.
