There are a lot of repeated questions on a daily basis. a really big one is "how to contour" or contouring related questions. I love that you are all willing to learn, a couple of beautylishers that are professionals and familiar with contouring have answered these questions in great detail in previous threads/posts. try using the beautylish search bar under the "talk" category using the key term "contouring". you will find great answers there. if your questions have not been answered, ask :) some of us beautylishers love answering questions, and some are repeated so many times that I personally ignore them.
p.s there is nothing wrong with asking, I just think answering this on a daily basis, gets a little tiring.

I was thinking the exact same thing with how many times I answered questions about the NAKED3 this weekend.

I also think, the what should I wear to school tomorrow (include pics) are anoying , beacuse many beautylish girls will post pics and we don't even know what's in the closete of the person who asked.

I totally agree. I think it would be amazing if the moderators could possibly pin a "contouring how to" thread at the top of the makeup talk section and possibly do the same with a "MOTD" thread, where all MOTD threads are merged into one giant one. Even if they didn't pin a contouring thread to the top, I wish they could merge contouring threads together.

Oooh yes, I am almost always on the website instead of the app, so I didn't even think about the search feature not being so great (to be honest, its pretty bad on the website too). Hopefully in the next app update, they can try to improve the search feature =)

I think the search feature work fine, I use it a lot! I used it today to get the info about using coconut oil as a hair mask as I know its been asked a million (!!) times but I didn't pay much attention since I didn't have the coconut oil... So it's just a matter of using the search function in the right way, then you will get the result you need!

I do agree with you ladies. but like Rebecca stated the search bar is horrible I typed in how to contour just to see what would come up and most of the threads that popped up did not even relate to contouring. So I just searched contour and this at least gave me contouring related results, but the threads have horrible information everyone is stating to use bronzer instead of a grayish toned sculpting powder..So I do think the search bar needs to be fixed haha!

The search has it's hits and miss and as for the contouring topics and using grey tones those types of threads or info would go back as early 2012-13 it took a lot to get people to understand contour method because everyone seem so obsessed with bronze, but now the word has spread thank goodness :) Always feel free to give some insight to the Beautylish,Stay Beautiful ladies!
