There's a rotating hair brush by Babyliss, called Babyliss big hair brush, my roomie had that and it was pretty decent. If you condition your hair well, use a leave in and use a heat protectant, you can ensure the hair doesn't get stuck in the brush.

Oh and, there's one by Vidal Sassoon that we tried, vidal sassoon turbo I think, its real cheap but I didn't think it did a good job on roomie's thick hair. You could also try a rotating brush by John Frieda, I have heard good things about it.

I had one and it was a waste. I get nicer results with a quality round brush, rolling on my own with a blow dryer.
