So I have extremely oily skin and I have a hard time finding products to correct the oil. Usually when I put on a foundation or a powder, my skin will stay matte for a couple hours then it just becomes extremely oily.
Any suggestions on what I can do to eliminate the oil and shine? I've tried blotting papers but I can go through a pack of 100 in less than 2 weeks :(

Have you tried murad oil control mattifier yet? I use it as a primer. All other primers are a fail for me. Also Estée Lauder double wear is the foundation I swear but along with rimmel stay matte powder and tarte amozonian clay blush. :)

This isn't makeup but my fiancé and I use black soap and he has extremely oily skin and it has been helping him a lot! His skin doesn't get nearly as oily as it use to!

Carry around blotting sheets, use an oil free moisturizer and use a oil free cleanser as well. A good powder would be rimmel stay matte

Brittany...I agree with you on the primers...they just make it worse. I'll try the oil control mattifier and the rimmel powder.

Use a oil-free toner on your t-zone before makeup. It eliminates oil and makes your pores appear smaller too.

@Alia D. You can find it at Whole Foods and Walmart. For the life of me I can't remember the name of the brand and I'm not at home right now but its in a black box with yellow writing. Should set you back $4 bucks max.
