Spiral Curls for Layered Hair

Ok, so I have waist length hair, but I have layers that go to my shoulders. How could I get spiral curls like these with out getting puffball hair? My hair is really really really thick! Please help

you can use the wand its good for spiral curls and they last till the next day

i dont know if you like your curls big, but when I had my long hair I used a curling iron, I would just wrap it around .

I personally love pin curling my hair, you can choose exactly how tight you want the curl...there's loads of videos on YouTube about it
