A release date! Yay! Its also being marketed as a pressed pigments palette; the shades slowburn, savage, jilted, and urban are "not intended for the immediate eye area". The palette is 49 dollars. Also, in the email it said they are releasing gash in the revolution lippie formula, only online (: very exited about that one. Thanks to the urbandecay site/email and musingsofamuse.com for the info, just wanted to share for those excited about the palette.

I want this palette even more than the naked 3!! So excited! What exactly does it mean "not intended for the immediate eye area"? Isn't it an eyeshadow palette?

So 40% of the palette can't be used for eye looks...It was a pass before, but now it's a 1000% no.

I can see the complaints coming in now...a few shades not intended for immediate eye area. They really need to clarify that because to one person it could mean the entire eye area and some only involving the waterline. I'm taking a pass on this palette but I'm excited for those who plan on getting it...I look forward to seeing all the different eye looks.

Its because they're "pressed pigments" the pink/purple shades are the ones marked as "not intended for immediate eye area" its because of the red pigment in the colors.

Earlier I really thought I would get this as soon as it is out but now after this warning for four colors I am not that interested anymore..

I think the reason those colors are labeled as not being for the immediate eye area is because in the US not many companies have been willing to shell out the money to test their neon pigments with the FDA so they can't officially say they are safe, although they more than likely are because there are many other companies that make neon pigments and shadows that have gotten the FDA approval in both the UK and Canada. (Like the acid palette from Sleek. There are also some pigments from Sugarpill that have the same warning, such as their Elektrocute pigments)

Basically to me that means it's a "use at your own risk" type of deal. So personally, I'll probably try them all and wear them as normal if they aren't irritating. If they are irritating I'll stop using them simple as that lol. I'm too excited for this palette to not at least try to use them all. If the ingredients are approved in other countries I see no reason why they can't be used simply because the US hasn't gotten around to stamping approval on it. It isn't like the ingredients are completely foreign. If it was actually dangerous I'm sure it wouldn't have been allowed to be sold here at all. That's just my 2 cents though, everyone is of course entitled to their own opinion and discretion.

Caitlin your exactly right I have the MUFE flash palette and it specifically says that US customers shouldn't use the red, pink and coral around the eyes and the blue, aqua, silver and gold around the lips. It's just the FDA has not yet approved of the neon colors.

Makes perfect sense Caitlin. Its all about packaging wording to skirt around federal law. Wish our FDA would get their act together and catch up with the rest of the world.
