Ok my hair is a light brown right now and I'm wanting to go blonde I have done it before but I have well water where I live and it always makes it very yellow! Is there any products or tips that can help?? Thank you!! :)

My sister used Sun-In, you just spray it on and sit in the sun. It works pretty well!

My friend tried sun-in last summer and it turned her scalp red. I would stay away from it

You definitely need to use a toner(a purple/violet one to cancel out the yellow. Also don't forget to use special shampoo for blondes to keep it looking vibrant like the purple shampoo (which tones the hair as it cleanses)

Definitely use a purple shampoo. Sun In works amazingly for me! It does contain peroxide and lemon juice so it makes sense that it would make your scalp red if you apply a lot to your scalp and then sit in the sun all day long.
