Exfoliate, apply thin layer of lip balm, lip primer-let set. Line lips, apply thin layer of lipstick -blot. Apply another thin layer of lipstick, blot. Lasted through 6 out of my 10 hour shift at my very busy salon!

I've tried putting lip balm (maybe i didn't let it set long enough) to ensure moisturized lips but my lipstick(s) didn't want to stick very well to the lip. I'm convinced that the brand doesn't matter, it's all on the application.

First apply color of lip stain then apply lip liner over top then apply lip stick then apply translucent powder then if it washes the color out apply lip stick again and apply lip balm. It works i used this for my dance recital

First, exfoliate your lips (just use a homemade sugar scrub) and then moisturize with some lip balm. Next, apply lip liner and be sure to fill in your lips. Apply lipstick, blot, and then powder. Finally, apply lipstick, and you're good to go!
