Urban Decay Vs. Smashbox

Between the Urban Decay palettes and the Smashbox full exposure palette which one do you prefer?

I do not like the quality of smashbox eyeshadow. very little color pay off. I own 3 UD palettes and a absolutely love them :)

I feel like both are a little hyped, especially Urban Decay. I swatched the SB Masterclass Palette in store and it seemed ok, but just ok. The Urban Decay palettes are good quality, but the pigmentation can be a hit or miss (and I've owned the NAKED1, 3, Vice 2, and Ammo palette from then. The ONLY palette I've kept is the Vice2). Like, if you're going for neutrals there are MUCH better palettes out there then the NAKED palettes (Lorac Pro Palette, Too Faced Chocolate Bar, Too Faced Natural eyes or Neutral eyes, whatever it's called). If you're going for colors Urban Decay is nice (especially the liners OMG) but again, there's better out there, like Sugarpill as far as eyeshadow goes.

TLDR; Both are over hyped, especially UD, but I prefer UD if I HAD to pick.

Because that is my favorite palette hands down, it goes with me everywhere. Pigmentation that knocks UD waaaaaaayyyy out of the park.

I haven't tried Smashbox's eyeshadow, I've been wanting to, but Urban Decay keeps me hooked lol. I love their eyeshadows, it's basically the only kind I use, both because I like the quality and because I just have so many of their palettes now lol. I don't own a single naked palette though.

I loveeeee Smashbox, the quality of their eyeshadow is amazing. I have the Master Class 2 Palette and I use it everyday. I love the brand. Having said that I always love Urban Decay eyeshadow but I find some of them have a lot of fallout. If I had to choose a brand I would probably pick Urban Decay but you can't go wrong with either one.

I have swatched some smash box palettes and there ok but I feel UD is way better, in regards to what erin said about to faced I feel like ud eyeshadows are smother an more pigmented then ud still they have great great shadows but I still feel like the ud are better in some cases cuz the pretty rebel palette is amazing it reminds me of the ud palette but some of the little ones for $36 wasnt as great as that one or the but thats just my opinion as far as lorac they have good pigmentation to comparable to too faced 😊
