What kind of shoes do you have to wear? What kind of job do you do? I hate wearing flats because they have no arch support and I have low arches. I had spinal problems and the only thing I could wear were heels or wedges since it took the pressure off my sciatic nerve... so It depends on what kind of pain you have and what kind of shoes you have to work with. I also put arch support gel inserts in my shoes which helps a lot. If I want to be the most comfortable all day on my feet, I usually wear between a 3 and 5 inch wedge, that's just what works for me! I also wear a lot of Doc Marten boots, but they are very uncomfortable until broken in very well.
