What product have you tried that received such rave reviews from everyone only to be a complete disappointment for you? I received a generous sample of Giorgio Armani's Maestro Liquid foundation and it was an epic failure for me.

Smashbox primer. I absolutely hate any primer with a silicone feeling, and I don't think that it even works well enough for me to try to get used to the feeling. I also have been really underwhelmed by my NARS eyeshadow duos and trios, I feel like the pigmentation is really lacking and there's quite a bit of fallout. Speaking of NARS, I don't care much for Orgasm either. I love the peach + pink shades of it, but the glitter just really puts me off. I keep trying to make it work for me and it just is a no-go. What about that foundation was disappointing for you, Shelley?

@Courtney B. the foundation was disappointing because it made no difference whatsoever in appearance. It just gave me a semi-matte look and husband actually said my skin looked way better naked without it than with this pricey stuff which is in the $60 dollar range. I didnt have to set it with powder since it dried to a powder finish but overall I was not impressed with it and I'm so glad he didnt get suckered into buying the full-size product at the counter.

Not really a product but a tool, the MAC full eyelash curler is an overpriced thing of metal and you get a better result with a $2 drugstore one

I may be the only person to be disappointed with MUFE HD foundation. The finish was nice but it slipped right off my face within 2 hours. I wanted to like it so bad because there are sooo many great reviews on the foundation.

I have to second the smashbox primer. I also was disappointed with the too faced shadow insurance, my shadow held up better with out it.

Too faced bad girl or bad gal mascara. I had better results with the L'oreal collagen mascara which costs less than half of,what the too face cost. Also cover girl eye shadow.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation. No matter what I use to apply it(Several different brush types, several different sponges and fingers), it just never works out well. I've also tried it with several different primers and without. I wanted it to work so bad.

I definitly agree with the UD Big Fatty! I hated it! Also, I did not care for the Kat Von D Lock it concealer. For some reason it was not as full coverage as I thought it was going to be. :(

@Stephanie S. Yes!!! The Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation did not work for me either. It my chin look gray/ashy. And I tried all sorts of tools to make it work. I even tried to blend it out with a regular liquid foundation. No dice.

NARS Laguna illuminator cream- probaby just because of my skintone, but it made me look orange and Maybellines light BB cream- I didn't feel like it did anything at all.
