I've just brought the new smash box palette and I'm having trouble coming up with ideas... Has anyone got a good tutorial? I'm a bit of an urban decay girl, but I thought I'd try this!

One tip wen using this palette is to wet your brush when using the glittery ones. works sooo much better!!

You could do a look with the punkish colors and greys that would look stunning?

Here are the shimmer swatches, the lighted colours took a while to build up. I'm going to do a look tomorrow using them.

Here are the mattes, the white/cream took a very long time to build up. About 6 swipes. The dark colours would be very good for the crease and I may use my Naked 2 palette for the rest.

For the shimmery ones if you use a sticky base they should appear a little better. Or you could use them wet as someone else suggested. For the sticky base I'd recommend one of Nyx's jumbo eyeshadow pencils. I use the matte white shade called "Milk" but you could try to find ones that match the colors of the shadows better so you get even more color payoff. Just make sure to blend it out a bit so it isn't too chunky or thick.

Thank you for the swatches and for the info, it looks pretty but similar to other colors that require less work. Thank you!

Pretty but definitely use a primer to get better color payoff. I love Urban Decay, Too Faced, and also Milani makes a great primer
