I am very intrigued with contouring and I was wondering what is a good contouring kit for a beginner OR individual products that I can purchase at drug stores.
Thank you!! 💐

Do you wanna do cream contouring or powder? there are kits for both but some might say they aren't for beginners. Although I feel they are better for beginners because picking the right shades for the process might be tricky for beginners. If you wanna do drug store you could just pick either a cream or powder foundation or concealer that is 2 shades darker and lighter for contouring and highlighting. at least that's what I've heard lol. you want to make sure the darker color is cool toned and not warm like a bronzer. Like I said I prefer to go with kits specifically designed for the purposes. so for cream kits there is one by senna cosmetics which comes for light to tan tones or tan to daek and one by motives cosmetics that comes for warm tones or cool tones, and they are really nice. And for powder, anastasia makes a beautiful contouring kit. All of those can be found online although I know the anastasia has been selling out.

Also NYX has a powder highlight and contour compact that is a cheaper alternative but still pretty nice.

I rather go with powder. I have a elf "countering" kit when in all actuality it's a "bad" copy of Nars's Laguna and Orgasm.

Yeah I don't know why they called that a contouring when it's more a bronzer and blush than it is a contour shade and highlighter. well if you prefer powder then I would suggest the nyx contour compact. it has the perfect Grey brown needed for the shadow. Although honestly I'm not big on the highlighter in the compact. before I got my cream kit and my anastasia powder palette I used the nyx for contour and Ben nyes banana powder for highlight.

Anastasia.net will be restocking the palette every now and then. so if you can hold out and make it to the site before they sell out again lol, it'll be $40
