Hii beauties! I'm a novice when it comes to makeup and beauty-related, I know pretty much the basics however I love it and would love to learn more. I have heard to watch YouTube videos and to read books to learn tips, tricks and techniques and to practice practice practice.
My question is what beauty or makeup books would you recommend for an aspiring makeup artist? The only book I've read good reviews on is the Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual. What are some of your favorities?

I love all of the Bobbi Brown makeup books, the Five Minute face book by Carmindy is great and has a lot of really good information in it. I have lots of them on my Kindle, I'll post a list for you a little later today when I have time.

But I'm not an MUA, just a makeup junkie so one of the other ladies might be able to help you better. There is also a series here on BeautyLish on building your kit that is really good, I think it is on part 22, but you can look them up and read them all.  :)

Thanks Kelly! I've considered getting some books on Kindle but I read a review where the text and the pictures conflict. is that a problem with yours? I'm not looking to do a career in makeup but I just want to be really good at it. lol
