So I'm not exactly a makeup virgin but pretty darn close. I have lash extensions (thank goodness! ) so mascara is not a concern. I can get a pretty good winged eyeliner going with my liquid liner, but I don't like it for everyday wear. I'm 100% clueless when it comes to eyeshadow. If someone put a gun to my head and told me if I didn't create a pretty look with eyeshadow they'd shoot me... my family would be planning my funeral. I've got a good red lipstick for those occasional nights out. I put foundation on my nose to smooth stuff out... that's about it! I recently over heard some girls talking about "contouring" your face with makeup which I want to know more about since I have a very round, honestly chubby, face. I tried watching a video but it went way over my head taking about "highlight" "contour" "darkest color at the side fading in"... I was lost! I need a "Makeup for Dummies Class..Book... Something!!" Can any of you lovely ladies point me in the right direction?

My suggestions from someone who is still learning themself is to get yourself a fun pallette and some good brushes and go to town! Just experiment at home, watch tutorials and get ideas for looks from pictures you see that look fun. Ask questions on here if you need to know something everyone in this community is great and so helpful :) if you want suggestions for good products just ask and you will get lots :) just have fun!

Buckle up girl! You are in for a wild ride! The more experienced members will love taking you under their brushes (okay...wings.. I know, bad joke! :p)! Welcome! Most of all remember to have fun; it's just makeup and washes off!
