So on the 29th I'm taking my 2 friends to a local small beauty store called Flirt Beauty. Neither of them have ever touched makeup and I'm going to teach them how to do their own makeup. How should I do it? Also any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sarah

Start with basics
mascara blush foundation depends on the coverage concealer if they need extra coverage. once they hsve the basics down move onto liner eyeshadow contouring of they want.
I'd shop at walgreens target cvs or walmart for drugstore brand.

I suggest, if you're taking them to a beauty store, that you show them all the different kinds of makeup. show them the difference between liquid/powder/cream foundations & liners & blushes.. the difference between certain mascaras & what not. get them really familiar. also, tell them about the different ways of applying makeup. like how you can use a brush, your fingers, a sponge, etc. to apply foundation.
the more familiar they are with makeup, the easier it'll be for them to put it on themselves (:

I think that you should start with the basics, letting them know what every product is and what it is used for. Then you could teach them how to apply foundation and what you can use to apply that, along with bb cream and powder. Then go for blush, bronzer, highlighter, eye makeup, etc. just have fun! But start with the basic need to knows first :)

Show them how you apply your own then maybe apply it on them and show them what would look best for their own features then let them do it themselves.

Get the items that beginners would like first. Foundation, powder, a good palette (preferably neutrals because you can never go wrong with them!) and etc. It really depends on what you think they would use.
You should sit them in front of a mirror and do their makeup one by one as you explain the how-to's and what-to-do's. So both can be able to see what you are doing to their face and friend's face.
