MAC cc primer-- what are your thoughts?

I'm in need of something to brighten my complexion.. I feel like I look so dull after I do my face makeup. Do you guys like the new mac cc primer, or can you suggest something else that is better? My skin is sensitive and acne prone and my nose gets flaky easily 😥
