I need to change my shampoo and conditioner my current herbal essence is making my roots oily after washing... I have med-thick dark brown non colored hair... Any suggestions?

Have you tried sulfate free shampoos? That might make a big difference.

Try Paul Mitchell awapuhi I also have a greasy scalp but using this once a week really clarifies without stripping the moisture from my hair.

Sounds like you might need to look into a clarifying shampoo because sometimes what is thought as having greasy hair is actually product buildup. Everyone should clarify their hair at least twice a month to remove buildup from stylers, shampoos and even leave in conditioners.
