Is there a natural oil I can use as a heat protector for when I flat iron my hair? I use argan oil right now, but it makes my hair feel rough.

Biosilk silk therapy works great and it only takes a very small amount. I Know its not natural, but its the best I've ever used :)

Sunflower oil, peanut oil, almond oil, and avocado oil all have high heat tolerances -- much higher than coconut or olive.

Biosilk & Garnier are NOT natural. I've head that grapeseed oil is a good heat protectant... Something to do with its high "smoke point"
