Do it in small sections and if possible have your flat iron follow after a brush. Use some type of shine serum to reduce frizz so it's sleek and shiny

I also think my hair looks better when I've straightened it out with a blow dryer before just a little bit :)

When you're in the shower after you've conditioned it brush through n get out of the shower n blow dry it straight but I'd use some mousse to make it more sleek. After you're done blow drying it straight use the iron n straighten it. (:

I have thick hair and here is my rountine:
1. Wash and Condition hair (since you are having the frizzy issue, I would use Loreal Sulfate Free Shampoo)
2. Use a heat serum (just a little bit, I use Organix Moroccan Argan Oil)
3. Blow dry hair on low and start with the ends first
4. Section hair off (I just use big clips)
5. Spray a heat serum (I like Garnier Sleek and Shine or Tresemme) only spray on the section you are working on and the straighten. Don't just spray the whole hair at once.
6. Apply an oil again, but be careful so if doesnmr make your hair look oily (I use the same Organix as above)
7. Spray hairspray and done (I use Herbal Essences Volume Hairspray

Organix Moroccan Argan oil is awesome. I took some from my mom and my hair was perfect.
