Do you use foundation on the stippling/finishing brush or without so it's just a clean brush?

I'm not sure I'm understanding your question. Are you asking if you put the foundation on the brush then apply or apply then use the brush? If that's what you're asking then you take the foundation apply to the back of your hand/palette and dip the brush in making sure it's evenly distributed & stipple on your face :)

Honestly? not a stupid question. you can do both._.
I prefer using it after foundation because a lot of my product is soaked up into the brush.
But obviously, there's no one specific way to do makeup.
