So last August I did a blond ombre which did not suit me at all so in December I dye it back black.
They did a d?coloration then a coloration which destroyed my hair.
Now the color is going but I don't mind because it's a chocolat color and looks more natural with my black hair.
Anyway, any tips to keep my hair healthy and away from split ends (By the way I'm going to chop it of my ends Saturday) :)

Deep condition a lot more especially your ends. Coconut oil and olive oil treatments are good too.

First, trim your split ends. If you don't, they will keep splitting up the shaft and ruin even more of your hair.
Second, invest in a sulfate and sodium chloride free shampoo and conditioner (I like the L'oreal EverStrong and Pureology when my hair is dyed, which is always), and a hair mask or deep conditioner (I like Macadamia Deep Repair Masque and the L'oreal Power Moisture Mask). In the shower, wash your hair first thing, shampoo only the roots and condition from your ears down. After that, apply your mask, focusing on the ends of your hair. Finger comb until you don't feel any knots, and then put your hair in a bun. Leave it that way for the rest of your shower, washing it out should be the last thing you do. I wash my hair around 3 times a week (with dry hair I can get away with it) and do the hair mask every time. If you need to wash your hair more than that, reduce your hair mask usage to 3 times :)
Third, in terms of heat protectors, I like the Tressemme and It's a 10 Leave in Plus Keratin. However, I advise you to cut out heat styling as much as possible.
That's my hair routine, my entire head is bleached and it is just as healthy as it was before I dyed it.
