So I have my appt today to get my hair colored. It's going to be a lot of work because I'm getting a lot done. My cousin is probably going to give me the family discount. My question is how do I I figure out the tip? Obviously I want to tip very well but I'm not sure exactly what would be appropriate. Please help!!

20%. Usually when it involves a lot of work and your happy with the results then you should give a little more.

20 to 30% keep in mind that they do live on tips as well, anyone really in the beauty industry does. I know who it is when we get clients that only tip 10 on a 150 dollars service that takes 1-2hours.
