I am a natural blonde but I temporarily dyed my hair in te 6th grade for a project. Now I've been getting blonde highlights since 7th grade. The problem is now I'm in college and I'm pretty much broke all the time and highlights are kind of an up keep. Does anyone know if there is a blonde coloring that doesn't require much upkeep? Thanks lovelies💕 btw this is how my hair is now and how it always has been.

There's always John Frieda sheer blonde shampoo conditioner and spray & the Marilyn hair treatment from lush or their daddy o shampoo.

I've used the shampoo and conditioner and it doesn't dye your hair it just brings out your highlights more. Honestly I never saw a difference but thank you! @Tiffany.

Also I meant coloring as in a hair dye that my stylist could do. Sorry if I wasn't clear before! :)

Have you tried the Marilyn hair treatment from lush? Xsparkage on yputube just did a review on it and she loves it.

Ombré.
I used to be just like you. But I got my hair stylist to fade it out & now I haven't gotten my hair done since Oct!! Lol here I am. Being weird.

You could ask for Balayage. It's a french technique developed in the 1970s where you apply the dye free hand with a tinting brush rather than using foils. The effect is somewhere in between an ombre and highlights. It gives a more natural look and it is easier to grow out because the colour starts at different heights and usually right next to the scalp so there is no harsh growing out line.

I totally agree with Hannah and Lauren, since you're a natural blonde, I think slowly phasing out your frequent high light routine by ombre or balayage techniques will be the easiest to keep up with and the lowest maintenance while still being pretty and keeping you primarily blonde.

John Frieda Go Blonder spray worked great for me! Since my hair bleaches from the sun in the summer it tends to fade in the winter to keep it lighter! It's also activated with heat so all you need is damp hair and a blow dryer!

Maybe ask your stylists to see if she can use a bleach that can be applied to scalp...I don't know if itd make a huge difference but might help also try not to wash your hair as much it makes color fade quicker and invest in a sulfate free shampoo it should also help you :) hope I could help.
