The lines look really clean (: I think it looks great as a zombie , because there are so many different variations of that makeup. I've done some scars on my zombie makeup using tissue paper, liquid latex, and colored gel but honestly this looks great (:

Thanks josii! Last year I did more glam stuff like glam vampire but I wanna get more into special effects. What kind of liquid latex works best?

I'm not nearly an expert on special effects makeup but you should definitely go to a theater store or get one that's specifically meant for skin. also try to stay away from the eye area when applying it as it can be a little odorous and can be a bit rough on skin when peeled off :)

There really isn't a latex specifically meant for skin. They all have ammonia in them so they may be irritating for some people. The only type that would be better suited is liquid latex. There are two types, liquid and mask. Mask is thicker and is used for making Halloween masks and props and is rarely used on skin (it can be but it has a higher ammonia content so the odor is stronger and it has more potential to irritate and is just more unpleasant to have on yourself) And then obviously people can have latex allergies so always do a test on a small area before putting it all over the place lol. But Monster Makers probably has the best quality latex, but to just practice you can get a lesser known, cheaper brand at a Halloween/theater/costume store. Monster Makers can get pricey because they really only sell online and shipping can get outrageous very quickly unfortunately.

Also that's pretty good for 2D makeup :) What did you use? If you want to do some more 2D I'd recommend looking into some Wolfe Bros. face paint or some of Mehron's paradise paints :) They're great for face painting.

Thanks everyone! You've been so helpful! And yes I personally have allergies to latex (only on my face though?) so I will ask my client before hand. I have a lot of time to practice so this will be 20 times better getting closer to Halloween. Here I used some cheap face paint I bought a couple years ago and a kohl liner. Basic.

I'm sensitive to latex as well. I think most people are, it's a very irritating product to put on the skin. As long as it's just some minor itching and redness I wouldn't be too concerned though. Almost everyone I've seen it applied to has at least a little reaction to it, I think its just the nature of it lol.
