When I shave my armpits it starts to it about a day after I shave and itches for like 2 days. What can I do to stop the itching and to prevent it?

I have to EXACT same problem. My legs are all scared up from scratching. So now every night I exfoliate my legs with a Japanese washcloth and every 2-4 weeks I wax:) Legs already feel and look better! Plus my hair comes back thinner and less of it. It gets pretty long but you have to tolerate it. That's just me. I hope I helped!

I agree with Jordyn, exfoliation helps. My roomie had this exact problem, then we started doing this: Both of us use a gentle body scrub no earlier than 12 hours before shaving,I. e the night before shaving/waxing, then we use aloe vera gel on the armpit and go to sleep. The next day we use a sensitive skin shaving cream/a mixture of aloe gel and lavender essential oil thats NOT too creamy on the armpits, shave/ wax, then wash off and use plain aloe gel. She hasn't itched since this routine at all.

Do try exfoliation Jocelyn, only make sure you don't do that just before shaving, cuz skin might be sensitive from the exfoliation. If you can do that a day before, its the best, but I always forget lol, 12 hours earlier is safe too.

Try rubbing a tad bit of coconut oil there. Coconut oil has helped so much after shaving for me to stop burning and itching.

A good shaving cream and moisturizer should help. Try Aveeno Shave Gel, it's very gentle on the skin. You can also shave with coconut oil. Afterwards moisturize immediately. I know how Jordyn mentioned scarring, I have the same problem on my legs. After years of scratching I had horrible scars all over my legs and I was so self conscious. I started using coconut oil on my legs twice a day and in almost a couple months the scars are almost gone. If anyone else has the same problem try using coconut oil.
