Start at the end of the lower lashline and follow through to create the wing then connect the wing with the line that was made at the upper lashline.

I use Kat Von D tattoo liner. I find it very easy to work with. I keep my eyes open. Line the lid first starting at the outer end then draw the wing out and connect it and smooth it out on top and then I go back and add where ever I need to near the inner eye.

I recommend starting the line in the middle and going towards to outter corner of your eye, then start at the inner corner and connect them. Use short strokes instead of a sweeping motion. You can use tape, a credit card, or the handle of a make-up brush to get the line straight or look at your bottom lashline and see where your eye would naturally extend to and make the line from there, then try to attach the corner of that line you just made to the main one (I really hope this is making sense..). If you mess it up a little what I like to do is take a thicker angled liner brush with a little concealer on it and use that to make the line sharper, or if you haven't the rest of your make-up done you can take a face wipe line up one corner to the edge of your nose or mouth and the other to the to your temple and just in one quick motion drag it upwards (wayne goss has a video somewhere on this, I'll try to find it for you) and that should make a line sharp too. Never tug your eye or close your eye while drawing the line, it will end up looking different when you open your eye and a q-tip should fix anything else :)
