I currently use tresseme shampoo and literally the day after I shower, my hair is all oily!! Can anyone recommend a shampoo for oily hair or one that doesn't make hair oily.

I'd try something like a Tea Tree shampoo! Oil dissolves oil, and tea tree leaves your hair feeling very clean. I'd also take Velen's advice, the Garnier clarifying shampoo is amazing, smells like apples and leaves your hair super clean.

Try the green bottle from Suave Professionals. I personally use the almond kind. But mint works as well. Its also affordable.

Try using Neutrogena's T-Gel shampoo a few times a week. I know it smells really strong, but I also have super oily hair but this stuff actually dries my hair out so bad I get the "luxury" of getting to use conditioner after using that shampoo. Also, definitely take some extra time to really massage your shampoo in. When I massage shampoo in really well my hair is less greasy than if I was in a hurry. Good luck :)

Try Paul Mitchell awapuhi it's great for really clarifying without stripping the moisture it's great and you can buy the big bottles cheap online at drugstore.com.

And neutrogena t-gel is for people with dry scalps not oily.. It was recommended to me by my doctor for my psoriasis...

Diana- I know what it's used for, I was just saying it helps with my oiliness, too. It's really the only shampoo that does a good job making my hair squeaky clean.

I have fine, oily hair and these are my tried and true ones... Juicy by Lush, Intelligent + by Phyto, Angel Rinse by Kevin Murphy. Also use a clarifying shampoo once a week or so to remove buildup, I use pureolegy clarifying shampoo. Don't use too much product after shower either.

Also shampoos with tea tree oil are pretty good too like Paul Mitchell's tea tree shampoo, which is decent for a cheaper version.
