I've always liked that kind of look but I don't dare to try it bc my parents and everyone will judge me like always when I try something new.

When I'm doing the grunge look, I don't wear any makeup or just a little eyeliner and my hair has the kind of 'just rolled out of bed look'. That way it looks like I've not tried too hard.

When Grunge get's brought up I think of my time as a Teen in the 90's lol :) Look at the word grungy that is where it stems from,it's really not a true technical style and it didn't have a grunge makeup look it was plain, nothing more to it.I think kids that where born in the 90's or 2000's don't understand what that was all about or get that people did not slap on lipstick or had an actual Grunge makeup look. Now if you look at Courtney Love (grunge like but not complete) her look was actually inspired by Punk and her obsession with Nancy Spungen.I also think some people get Grunge mix up with Ska and that gets crossed a lot.I remember their was a big up roar in the 90's because all of a sudden fashion designer's were trying to copy the look and bring it to the main stream of fashion and people where upset because they didn't think that grunge should be a hyped style and that it should just be who you are as a person of personal taste.I remember Pearl Jam, Eddie Vedder got so upset by that as well as other Bands lol.
