So quick question! I recently lost my mac stippling brush and it was a pretty good brush but I'm thinking about buying the beauty blender cause I heard such good things about it! So do you guys recommend the beauty blender or a new foundation brush?

I personally like a brush better. I only used a dupe for it though so that might have something to do with it.

It depends on what kind of finish you prefer! The beauty blender provides a sheer finish but it looks really airbrushed. The MAC stippling brush provides more coverage but it can create streaks sometimes which can take more time to blend out.

I love the beauty blender! I have tried a few different brushes and never seem to be able to get the coverage I want and I always end up with streaks. I don't have that problem with the beauty blender. I bought a dupe from Walgreens first and it was okay but once I bought the real thing it was amazing!!

I think it's great but you need to clean it a lot more than brushes. So if you have patience for it, go for it! I also gave it up because in my opinion it soak more product than brush so it's a little waste of product. But I really like the application, so easy and quick.

You could buy both if you buy from Real Techniques! lol. They have a stippling brush as well as a foundation brush called the expert face brush and a sponge that's like the beauty blender. For probably under $20 you could get both. I use the expert face brush and its my favorite to apply foundation with. Then I use the sponge damp to sort of finish the look and take down any shine or cakeyness. I've found that using both tools makes my makeup look the best it ever has.
