Start with a good base of conditioned hair. In the shower use a deep conditioner! Afterwards apply a leave in conditioner or oil than when it's dry out in a *tiny* bit more. I love the Beauty Protector Protect and Oil- I've actually gotten compliments on how soft my hair is! Also you could invest in dry conditioner which is like dry shampoo.
