I was facing the same problem like you of thinning of hairs volume so I started using mustard oil. I know it sounds weird to you but it really works I have been using it for a year and now I have really long hairs upto my waist with a good volume :-).All you have to do it to apply oil on your head at night and take a good sleep and next day you can wash your hairs. Mustard oil can cause irritation in eyes causing them becoming red so if it doesn't suits you , you can switch to olive oil.

I had thin hair n my hair is very curly.
I use Shea moisture thickening shampoo. It's made my hair thicker. Honestly. It's kindah pricey but I only wash my hair 2xs a week n my hair is thick all week!
