My airbrush was getting gunky so I made some cleaner. I just eyeballed the ingredients to suit the 2oz spray bottle I put it in but it's windex, water, and a squirt of antibacterial soap. I'm new at airbrushing so if this concoction has the potential to damage my equipment please tell me. So far, it makes the inside super shiny and clean inside.
What do you guys use?

I don't have an airbrush machine but I've watched lots of reviews and stuff on them, most of them come with a solution that's made for cleaning them but I've also seen people just using warm water to clean them so I think what you're using should be fine as long as you get all the windex out of the gun so when you're applying it the chemicals don't go into your face.

Yeah I definitely make sure of that.
After I run the cleaning solution through it I run warm water through it to flush it out. C:

So you should be fine and your airbrush machine will be clean 😊

As long as your airbrush is metal (and most are 100% metal components in my experience) you should be fine. You can even take them apart and soak them in very hot water for a couple hours as well. Airbrushes are usually built to be very sturdy and durable :)
