You can make your eyes appear larger by putting a white or nude eyeliner in your waterline. Avoid black eyeliner in the waterline. Use only black eyeliner on the top lid. Defining your crease also helps and try not to wear dark eyeshadow. What I usually do is pack a white/nude eyeshadow color all over my lid then I put a deep brown in my crease like Buck from the Naked palette and blend it a little. Then I do a tiny wing.

Yep nude eyeliner on the waterline, a natural light or white shimmery eyeshadow on the inner corners, and start your eyeliner a little bit back from your inner corners :)
