Nope! just as long as it's not too dark. 1-2 shades darker than your skin tone is what you should be aiming for (:

Not at all! There's tons of tutorials on YouTube that teach you how to do it properly. Just remember to blend out the edges so it's not to sharp. It may even end up looking more natural ;)
