Are you willing to compromise coverage for a flawless or natural/dewier look? Or is coverage too important to you? Personally, I can't stand my foundation looking makeupy, so I have to blend it out with moisturizer and a damp sponge. What about you?

I am fortunate enough to need very little foundation and/or coverage. I think some people wear full coverage when they honestly don't need it.

I as well must have full coverage. I wear foundation solely to cover, so if it's not hiding everything I need it too then there's no point for me. I do agree I hate having the "makeupy" look as well, but everyone with a brain already knows I wear makeup so there's no point trying to act like I don't.

I'm with both of you, Zoey and Rozberry... I hate when my face makeup *looks* like makeup, but I am fortunate enough to not need much coverage at all. I either go bare faced or wear a tinted moisturizer/bb cream on regular days and blend the heck out of full coverage foundations with a wet sponge when I need more coverage.

I have a lot of scarring, but most of the dark ones I can spot conceal. Luckily, I have a fairly smooth, even complexion so I really just need something to keep my easily dried out face hydrated.

Natalie, I understand some people need it, but many are so hard on themselves and wear it when much less would do. Most days I wear Beauty Balm and no powder. I use primer and foundation, but a drop or two does my whole face and neck. Under my eyes on weekends out, I use Perfekt gel beneath the eyes. I'm grateful to my mom and a wonderful derm/nutrition. I have a friend with perfect skin and she says she HAS to wear full coverage or she doesn't feel pretty. If that makes her happy, I'm so glad..but I think some girls judge themselves severely.

I try to use as little foundation or bb cream as possible- I don't want to look too plastic. I also have red cheeks and some spots, therefore I almost never go out without any foundation but the foundation I'm wearing looks quite natural imo :).

I'm wiling to compromise coverage. I wear DIY tinted moisturizer everyday (2 parts moisturizer and one part foundation or bb cream) and I use a stippling brush so that sheers it out even more. Revlon Colorstay is a medium coverage but I like to sheer it out so my skin can peek through. I love how my skin is naturally contoured. I literally have a dark contour indication on my cheeks.

I sadly have a looot of hyper pigmentation, so I just need my coverage to feel confident enough haha.

Jacqueline, I can understand the need and desire to be faaabulous, but for an everyday look, I personally can't justify my face looking cake-ish and makeupy, because I go so big and harsh on my eyebrows and sometimes eyeliner. Having a "no-makeup" makeup look on my face makes me feel better about going dramatic on my brows, eyes, and lips. :)

I need to have a medium to full coverage foundation because I have a lot of acne scars and discoloration. I have learned how to apply my foundation on property so that I don't look cakey or like I have a ton of face makeup on. I do like looking like a porcelain doll too so I don't really care if it does look like I have a lot of makeup on. like Jacqueline said, I go out of my way to look unnatural. I love dramatic makeup and lots of colors :))

I have fairly clear skin, so maybe I don't ''need'' medium-full coverage foundation but then again nobody really needs make-up to begin with, I think of it as art. I never stay with one look but majority of the time I will do a full coverage face because I much prefer matt and flawless then natural and dewy, and I have freckles and veins so it would drive me nuts to see them.

I got tired of foundation daily, when I honestly don't think I need it.
I just add blush, mascara lip color of the day, and I'm out the door (;

I love makeup and wear full face almost everyday. I don't need the coverage (nor do any of you despite what you think) but I just love the glam look and feel. Sometimes I do want a dewy look but I still have a meduim to full coverage foundation with a dewy setting spray or something like mac fix +

Deffinitly full-coverage, I unfortunately have some scaring.

I do compromise coverage for naturalness. I have some residual melasma that I'm in the midst of fading. I use a medium coverage foundation that still leaves my melasma showing through a bit, so I use a bit of concealer on those 2 spots (one on each cheek about the size of a nickel) to cover it up. But I don't mind a few freckles & other minor discolorations to show through to give my skin a more no-foundation look.
