If you want to get the fullest possible coverage out of it I love Sephora's Foundation brush. If you want something more dewy and not full on coverage if suggest a damp Beauty Blender. (:

I've tried all sorts of ways and I personally go for brushes like the bare minerals handy kabuki or any sort of kabuki brush that are dense as they really get the product on your skin and buff it in with a clockwise and counterclockwise motion. Doing so also minimizes the look of pores.
