Soooo after Ingrid (MissGlamorazzi)'s huge hype over UD de-slick setting spray, I decided to pick it up hoping it would be great for my oily-ish skin.. but Im not seeing a difference! I'll probably end up using it up since it was almost 30 bucks, but I was wondering if any of you guys thought the same? Or maybe I should have tried the all nighter spray instead? Any thoughts? The oil tends to make my makeup slide off after a while, so I dont know, maybe the other one would have been better for me to keep it on longer??

I was so excited about De-Slick spray when I first heard about it. I've got pretty oily skin and it works to a degree, but I don't think it lives up to the hype. I get that it's a mattifier, but I didn't like how it dried out my skin either.
I've got a mini of All Nighter as well and it seems to be pretty much the same, and doesn't really do much.

if you use it the way she did in her video for the sweatproof make up (which i assume is where you heard about it), then it'll definitely help. but i wouldn't recommend using this ontop of your make up. i did that and it did nothing for me. it's better to layer! i'd call it more of a skincare product than a make up product, to be honest.
all nighter is good as a finishing spray at the end. that works great but it doesn't help with oils as much. at the end of a long day, i notice more breakdown with all nighter than deslick as far as oils go. i have however used both together and found my face didn't fall apart at all. i did it in this order..
moisturizer
deslick
liquid foundation/concealer
deslick
powder
blush/bronzer
eye products
all nighter setting spray
just make sure you let deslick dry down a bit between layers :)

Okay thanks everyone!!! Im going to try to use it before and in bewteen products instead even the the lady at sephora told me to spray it once I was done with my makeup... argh! lol
@mandy I use a cleanser, moisturizer, small amount of primer, then foundation. is that too much??
@lisa - i think I am going to get that once I run out of my spray! I think I would prefer something that I dont spray on anyway!

Okay, I think Im going to try the sandwich routine tonight!! and as for foundation, I use the chanel vitalumiere aqua which is fine for my oil bc it is water based. I have been wanting to try the MUFE mat velvet or the nars sheer matte next but idk which one to go for! I think the combination of that and the de slick working properly should control my oil!
