The ever so popular and debatable question: Which do you apply first? Concealer or Foundation?
I seem to apply my concealer first because I use liquid foundation most of the time and I feel the foundation helps blend out my concealer.
Which do you apply first? And why?

Same as you. And if I feel like i need a little more coverage on a certain area i'll put a little more concealer on it.

I usually put under eye concealer, then try to conceal around my nose and mouth area. Then my foundation, because it covers majority of my flaws. Then I spot conceal -- especially those pesty acne scars.
But most time, my foundation is enough -- only when I'm going out on a special occasion do I really want to look flawless and put on a full face.

first i do my concealer where i feel like my foundation will not be enough. usually just undereyes and big pimples. then, i will do my foundation and then spot conceal where i feel like i really need it. :)

It depends on what state my face is in HAHA. If I have a lot of blemishes & have dark under eye circles, I'll apply my concealer first. If I have little to no blemishes & have no dark circles, then I apply my foundation and conceal if I need to.

It depends on the finish I want.
If I'm using my MAC 187, I'll apply concealer on first because I wouldn't want a flat paddle'd concealer brush to mess up the finish (I NEVER buff in with the 187, just stipple for the 'skin' effect)
If I'm using my fingers, I usually just apply my concealer later.

I put on concealer first, I only use it under my eyes. I really don't have any spots to conceal, if I did I would put under eye concealer, foundation, then spot conceal anywhere that needed extra coverage.

either one is first. but i prefer concealing under my eyes before foundation, only because i like to use a lighter concealer. whatever my foundation doesn't cover well, i'll go in with my concealer :p

I like to do it after apply foundation or tinted moisturizers because I really want it to help brighten up what the foundation or TM didn't conceal.

I like to apply my concealer after my foundation just because I feel like it gives me better coverage. I use two different concealers on my yes. Erase paste to brighten my eyes & Amazing Cosmetics concealer to conceal any blemishes that I might have. The great thing about the Amazing Cosmetics concealer is that it matches my foundation extremely well so it just blends right in so I won't have to worry about bright spots in my face is not blended in well.

Undereye concealer - foundation - conceal problem areas that show through foundation.

Same as Gabbi, when I do use concealer, but most of the time I skip it.

Generally i apply foundation 1st then concealer. I also read that Bobbi Brown uses this technique since as she puts it, concealer applied before foundation will be removed during foundation application. But i guess its a matter of personal preference, once the desired end result of a flawless finish is achieved. :)

Bit of both really, I'll put concealer under the eyes first then foundation and if I find I have any blemishes after putting my foundation I'll put some concealer over it.

@Derval I've heard that you are supposed to apply concealer first as well. But I'm definitely going to try your way and see if there's a difference! I love trying different methods, that's why I asked this in the first place. :)

I always put my foundation on first and then concealer. I used to do it the other way around but I watched one of Kandee Johnsons video's and she said you should always put the more liquid product on first, then the concealer and then finish with powder but I honestly don't mind :)

A lot of the times people don't need a concealer. Sometimes that is the case with me. I apply foundation and realize I don't need a cocealer. Other times with no sleep it shows that I do need concealer and I would apply foundation first then concealer. Depending on the consistancy of the concealer it can be applied before but with heavy creamy concealer I would apply after the application of the foundation.

Concealer and then foundation, Especially with color correcting (it does depend on what consistency the concealer and foundation is). Well here is the way I do it: I colorcorrect my under eye circles, put a thin layer of foundation which is the bourjois healthy mix foundation all over, then I use a lighter concealer to brighten the under eye area and if I have blemishes (which is occasionally) I would use the Vichy dermablend foundation to spot conceal. If I feel like my face looks uneven because of the spot concealing I'll put another thin layer of foundation on my face to make my skintone look more even. I mix it up a bit but would still use concealer first then foundation because the foundation has the color I want all over my face .

Foundation then concealer then set the foundation with a powder to prevent creasing
