..I currently purchased the laura mercier silk creme foundation for a full coverage foundation. I absolutely LOVED it, from the silky texture to the coverage to the natural feel and look on the skin. BUT...it broke me out within days!!!; in places I have never broken out before...like my eyelids and left side of my face.
Is there another foundation that would be similar or any full coverage that you would recommend?

MAC Studio Fix is high-coverage and I've never known it to make anyone break out.

Forrest,
I was looking at your pictures and you have nice skin. Why would you want a full coverage foundation. If you have problem areas like acne on your cheeks or just a group of spots in one area of your face don't use full coverage foundation all over your face. Apply a thin base all over your face. Then go back with an awesome concealer and just conceal your problem areas. I used to think that I needed full coverage foundation but then I was like...wth I don't have acne on my forehead or chin area.
My recommendations for full coverage foundations are:
Estee Laurder Double Wear (Lasts such a long time and sets quickly)
Make Up For Ever HD (build able)
Mac Studio Fix Fluid (Extremely Full Coverage - I hate it because it makes me break out. If you use it make sure you wash your face REALLY REALLY good to prevent breakout)
Dermablend Face and Body
Make sure to always test spot your foundation before using it to prevent a catastrophe like the one that happened to you with the Laura Mercier foundation. Good luck, mija! Let me know what you find!

Thank you guys. I only take pics when I am having one of my good days or if it is coverable. Lately my skin has gone AWOL for about the last 8 months since the year has begun. I like the full coverage for those days where my skin is being fussy and I can just throw it on with some powder and everything is pretty much covered. My skin is SO sensitive...I can't use MAC or anything mineral for some reason. I have thought about a lighter coverage foundation and just concealer but I do not know of any great concealers for the under eye and blemishes that do not look cakey after a few hours of wear. Any recommendations?
Thanks xox

I'd also recommend Estee Lauder Double Wear, you can pop to your local counter and they can colour match you and give you a sample to try out :)

Another vote for Estee Lauder Double Wear here! I have very oily, acne-prone skin, and DW offers me full coverage with absolutely no cakey-ness. It also lasts all day, and I have no problems removing it-unlike the Revlon Colorstay.

Illamasqua Rich liquid foundation! It's soo full coverage, I use it as a concealer! lol My skin is extremely sensitive and breaks out easily, and it didn't cause any bad reactions! :) Just make sure you set it so it lasts! I also love Estee Lauder's DW, but I find the packaging rubbish, and it can sometimes be hard to apply. The Illamasqua Rich Liquid blends like butter! :)

I have very very very sensitive skin and I have used Revlon Colorstay for almost 2 years now. It is a VERY full coverage foundation but I didn't break me out like the MAC Studio Fix Fluid did. I would give it a try <3 its only 13.00$ too!
Double Win!

Chanel Mat Lumiere and Illamasqua Rich liquid are really good if you want a Studio fix alternative.
