Howzit!
How do I make my eyes stand out on photos without it looking like a raccoon in real life? I don't usually wear a lot of makeup, but I've noticed my face looks "vacant" on photos. My usual eye makeup is liner and mascara.
Please assist. Mona Lisa is not the look I'm going for!

maybe go with a colored liner to spice it up a bit. you wouldn't have to go super bright.. try with a color that compliments your eye color

try a purple liner with black mascara or vise versa. purple will make your brown eyes pop a bit.
i highly suggest the almay i-color palettes that are made for different eye colors. they sell according eyeliners & mascara, but i stick with black. just follow the guide on the back or play around with the colors. it's a simple tiny compact that i LOOOVE.
also, blues, pinks, & green shadows make my brown eyes pop if you'd like to play around with something more!

False lashes do WONDERS to bring attention to your eyes... small detail, big return on investment. =)

Falsies like above!! But tbh, its hard to get your make-up to look as nice as it does in real life (especially if you use flash and have minimal make-up). You should play around with your camera settings/lighting :B

Thanx ladies. I was thinking about falsies, but it's so... false! I think I'll have to let my guard down and 1) play around with colour and 2) try something I haven't done before.
I'll let you know how I progress.

You can also, if you don't want to do lashes, try MAC's zoom fast black lash it gives the falsie look!

Are you using a flash? A flash always fades makeup.

I would say, use the a colored liner too. What I like to do is use a light gold eyeshadow right in my tear duct, It brightens my eyes instantly. And since it's gold it looks very natural opposed to silver. Also you can go with a tiny bit of the same gold on the outer corner.
