I've only tried Smashbox so far, but I don't see a difference in the longevity of my makeup. Any suggestions?

Have you heard about Monistat anti-chaffing gel as a primer? I use it everyday, and It works great. It is a dupe for smashbox, because it has a bunch of the samem ingredients, If you google Monistat as a Face Primer, you will come up with lots of results! I also have a blog post about it and more information, if you want to check it out you can go here http://www.mymaneblog.com/2011/07/july-29-2011-review-monistat-as-face.html
Hope this helps! (:

That sound strangely amazing. It makes sense because of it's ingredients. I'm definitely going to pick one up.

Okay, i switch between Mac prep+prime, and bare escentuals, but have totally added the L'oreal magis perfecting base and added on top of that ( literally ) M.O.M in my tzone ( just dab w/ a cotton ball, thats how i apply) n it works miracles,, believe me I have an OILY T-ZONE

I have two HG primers that are both drugstore. I use them when I want different results. I will list them with my use of that product.
1.) Physician's forrmula mineral wear correcting primer in green: I use this everyday pretty much for redness reduction and overall priming. It works great and doesn't make me look like a martian but yet reduces the redness in my skin (I am truely cool toned).
2.) L'oreal magic perfecting base: this stuff is AWESOME for reducing pore size and smoothing skin. makeup goes on perfectly over it. if they would only make a redness reducing version of the magic perfecting base, I'd be all over it. I use this when I want my skin to look perfect. it really does what it says
I'd skip the hard candy - i hated it. the magic perfecting base is awesome and i'd reccomend that if you don't have a color correction need.

I recommend the Clinique Pore Minimizer Refining Serum, not only does it reduces the pore sizes it also mattifies your skin without making it look dull. I do like it. It lasts for a very long time. I have oily nose and chin and this does wonders for me.
